I was born in London in 1971, the daughter of an inventor father and a psychoanalyst mother.
I was working as a model
when I was fourteen and started acting while studying English at trinity house in Cambridge University.
I formed a theatre company called ‘talking tongues’
which won the guardian award at the Edinburgh festival.
I starred in the noel coward play ‘design for living’
and received great reviews from critics
earning a vote for most promising newcomer
by the London critic circle.
I went on to appear in movies and have appeared in
‘enemy at the gates’ and ‘stealing beauty’.
